Staff
Our staff is the best!
You can feel
confident that the staff members looking after your child
are among the best in the business. Their job descriptions
require training in
First Aid, CPR and child development. They must be in
good physical health and submit to fingerprinting, carefully
screened with local, State, and National background
checks and clearances, as well as drug screening.
Local, Licensed Child
Care Providers...
The director at each center will plan and
coordinate with each teacher to plan the learning experiences for your
child, based on child development principles. They
also supervise the group leaders and volunteers
and have the authority to carry out the discipline
procedures explained in our handbook.

When you have questions or
concerns, please feel free to speak to your center
director or the child care supervising specialists
at each of our centers. Any of our staff should be able to
answer most of your questions or help you solve any problems.
REQUIRED STAFF TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS
Each of our employees
hold a current First-Aid and CPR certification
card with 2 hours HIV training included. Every
employee must also take our annual BloodBorne
Pathogens refresher course, as well as a Child
Abuse and Neglect refresher course.
ALL teachers must have their certification in
Special Needs, as well as Behavioral Observation &
Screening and know how to be able to detect
screening needs in children, such as hearing,
vision or learning problems.
1All of our staff members are required to complete
10 clock-hours of Annual In-Service Training each
year, Early Literacy and Language Development (5
course hours), and 50 Hours of Introductory Child
Care Training comprised of Part I & II.

(6 course hours), and
Health, Safety and
Nutrition (8 course hours), and
Identifying and
Reporting Child (4 course hours), and
Child Growth and
Development (6 course hours), and
Behavioral Observation
and Screening (6 course hours), and
Part II:(DAP) Special Needs Appropriate Practices
(10 course hours), and
(DAP) Appropriate
Practices for Preschool Children (10 course
hours), or
(DAP) Appropriate
Practices for the School-Age Child (10 course
hours)
Our directors are
required to complete all the above as well as hold
a current National CDA or FCCPC and Director’s
Credential Certifications, and 20 clock-hours of
Annual In-Service Training each year.
